Join us in the Inspiring Creativity Studio for a full day’s immersive experience, combining yoga, creativity and delicious food.
On: Sunday 8th August 2021
From: 10am to 5pm
At: The Inspiring Creativity Studio, Old Park. Lydney Park Estate. Gloucestershire. GL15 6BU
The morning will begin with Carolyn, who will guide the group through a yoga practice at a level to suit you. The practice will incorporate postures, breath focus and meditation designed to nurture, ignite or give access to creative possibilities.
Yoga means “union”. By unifying body, mind and breath, we can find flexibility, strength and balance. Flexibility of mind stimulates exploration, inquisitiveness, playfulness; perhaps allowing us to look at things from different perspectives. Strength of mind is empowering, inspiring us to follow our instincts and ideas. Balance brings consideration, peace and patience to enjoy the process of creating something beautiful to take away and through which we can remember our day together.
Then, Nemia, from Come to Good will bring nourishment for your bellies. We’ll gather and share a delicious seasonal warming soup and salad spread, plus some cake for good measure, all made in her signature style of joyful eating experiences!
After the delicious lunch, the afternoon will finish with a mindful making activity, creating beautiful mosaic mandalas, inspired by the seven chakras. You can choose to concentrate on just one or combine several colours together, to create a beautiful piece of art to takeaway with you. If you prefer, you can choose any of the 20cm shapes to mosaic instead of a mandala, these include a fox, Russain Doll, Flower Pot, heart or bird.
Size of mosaic 20cm. All materials, tuition and guidance will be given. Suitable for beginners.
The price for this wonderful full day experience will be £90. If you prefer, payments can be made in instalments (for a small admin fee of £5) please email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up this option.
Due to COVID-19, every effort will be made to reduce the risk of infection.
