What a treat! Immerse yourself in a full day of creativity, trying stained glass and mosaic, then put your two pieces together to create a beautiful heart artwork that we can't get enough of! 

I am collaborating with my studio neighbour, Jo Snowdon, to bring you a unique and exciting all-day workshop experience, where you can try your hand at two crafts in one day to create a mosaic and stained glass heart. 

You will get two and a quarter hours with each of us. 

With Jo you will be using the copper foil method, also known as the Tiffany technique. You will learn how to:

* score and break the glass

* how to foil your pieces

* how to solder them together. 

This is an introduction to stained glass and requires no previous experience. Jo has a range of coloured glass so you can create a design in your favourite colours. 

Then with me you will create a mosaic heart. Using the direct method, you will learn how to:

* plan a design

* shape your tiles

* glue your tiles

* grout your finished piece

We won’t get time to grout as the glue will still be wet, but a demo will be given and you’ll be given enough grout to finish your piece at home.

No experience necessary, suitable for beginners.
